The Pyrex glass thermometric wells for corrosive fluids are specifically used for galvanic applications as protective sheaths for temperature probes.
These sheaths are used whenever the probe is immersed vertically.
They are mainly used in galvanic baths or in open‐bath processes with aggressive chemicals.
Material: borosilicate glass. It is a sturdy material that is much more impact‐resistant than common glass. It is known for its thermal stress resistance quality and its low expansion coefficient.
