Hydraulic test bench for flow-rate tests with open drain and Kv coefficient calculation.

Main features:

  • DN25 and DN10 measurement lines

The BPF-Q series hydraulic benches are suitable to perform differential pressure tests for the calculation of Kv coefficient: the hydraulic plant is designed according to the Standard and a dedicated software permits to measure the pressure drop due to the components under tests subtracting the contribution of the test rig.

It is also possible to perform flow-rate tests with open drain with automatic linear increase of pressure.

BPF-Q100-8: 100 L/min - 8 bar

 

  • Flow-rate:  0,5-105 L/min
  • Maximum pressure at 100 L/min: 8 bar
  • Measurements lines: DN 15 and DN 6 (for accuracy better than 0,5% on the measure)

BPF-Q300-4: 300 L/min - 4 bar

 

  • Flow-rate:  1,5-295 L/min
  • Maximum pressure at 300 L/min: 4 bar
  • Measurements lines: DN 25 and DN 10 (for accuracy better than 0,5% on the measure)

BPF-Q300-8: 300 L/min - 8 bar

  • Measurements lines: DN 50, DN 25 and DN 10 (for accuracy better than 0,5% on the measure)
  • Note: two-pumps system working in parallel

Optional devices

opz-PV: Proportional valve for automatic flow-rate adjustment.

The proportional (linear) valve is controlled by PC with 0-10 V command. The automatic regulation is made without any manual intervention by the operator.

The option includes the software upgrade with the additional functionalities.

opz-HT: Internal tank for hot water to perform tests up to 90 °C. Available for models BPF-Q100 and BPF-Q300.

The tank, with dimensions adequate to the typical flow-rate of the bench, includes: heating resistances, level micro switches, automatic filling valve and control system to ensure the temperature stability.

Software

Available software

AQ2TB-KV-LAB: software for the evaluation of the pressure loss and the calculation of the Kv coefficient through the measure of the differential pressure as a function of the flow-rate. The software provides the following information as a function of the differential pressure: flow-rate (in L/min and kg/min), speed of the fluid, coefficients Kv and Cv, the flow resistance coefficient (ζ) and Reynolds number.

AQ2TB-FLOW-LIN: flow-rate test with linear increase and/or decrease of pressure and multi-trace flow-rate/pressure or pressure/flow-rate charts.

AQ2TB-P-FLOW: software for pressure reducers testing with automatic or manual linear increase of flow-rate and measuring of outlet pressure. Up to 6 acquisitions on the same graph.

AQ2TB-FLOW-DP: software for flow-rate tests as a function of the pressure drop on the device under tests for the calculation of the characteristic curve of excess flow valves. Up to 6 acquisitions on the same graph.
